Chocolate Mirror Cake, 1 Star Great Taste Award 2024

Our winning 8-inch celebration cake is a chocolate lover’s delight - with 5 different cocoa-based elements using various pastry techniques. It is handmade from scratch by our team at Heidi Studio, based in Windsor.

The judges loved the combination saying the cake was “decadent and technically astute; in terms of flavour, each element matches up to its predecessor”. They said, “the feuilletine stars, though the mousse is equally as special”. We’re so proud of our kitchen team for their work to get this cake just right. The Judges’ commented:

"this cake feels worthy of a celebration"
